  Una giornata incredibilmente eccitante. Una di quelle che non dimenticherò facilmente, perché portano con sé un colorato vortice di aspettative ed emozione, e ti regalano quella magica esplosione di adrenalina ed euforia che mi piace chiamare “incenso della vita”.

   Era iniziata non proprio benissimo (chi mi legge anche su facebook se ne era certamente accorto, J). Avete presente quando ci si sveglia con la luna di traverso? Ecco.

   Ma, è bastato rinchiudermi al beauty shop con la mia amica Ilaria, a infiocchettarci per la nostra mega serata, per ingranare la prima e ripartire sgommando e strombazzando. Quell’ambiente di sole donne, dove tutto è leggerezza e complicità, può davvero cambiare il corso degli eventi. E poi, diciamoci la verità, il fatto di dedicarci alla preparazione di una serata glamour, ci ha elettrizzato così tanto da trasformarci in lampadine accese. Brucianti per l’emozione, luminose e, addirittura, elettriche. Tutti i malumori sono spariti. È evidente che non si trattasse di qualcosa di troppo serio. Come la maggior parte delle volte, non è forse così? Stupidaggini alle quali, stupidamente, diamo troppa importanza.

   Come due cenerentole della moda, catapultate in un sontuoso salone pieno di cameramen, fotografi e tutta la stampa locale, ci siamo divertite tantissimo a farci fotografare e a chiacchierare con tutti coloro che ci individuavano subito in quanto italiane.

   Non mancava nessuno, c’erano persino alcune celebrities della televisione locale, a spargere uno charme che le rendeva più simili a dei cloni di Crudelia Demon che altro.

   Lo show è stato fantastico ed emozionante. Sfilava la collezione Primavera- Estate 2012. Gli abiti erano così eleganti e sontuosi, che la mia mente non ha potuto non accostarne la bellezza a quella che faceva risplendere le antiche matrone romane.

   I preziosi tessuti erano dei colori grezzi della natura, ma anche oro, rosso fuoco e turchese brillante. Accostati tra loro in modo sublime, riuscendo a fondere perfettamente il gusto occidentale con quello tipicamente orientale. Bastava uno sguardo per sentirne la morbidezza e la preziosità e per rimanere incantati dalla bellezza e ricercatezza dei ricami e dei disegni fatti a mano.

   È stato uno spettacolo talmente bello che mi è sembrato troppo breve. Ma, chissà, forse ho avuto questa sensazione semplicemente perché amo talmente tanto la moda e il bello, che non ne ho mai abbastanza.

   La mia amica Lamia Abi Nader è una stilista giovane e di talento. Una donna raffinata come i suoi abiti. Che, grazie alla sua bravura, costanza e serietà, è riuscita a riservarsi uno spazio nel piccolo e concorrenziale Libano, ma non solo. Presto, amici, vi racconterò molto di più su di lei e sulla moda libanese in generale J

   I spent a very special day. One of those I will not easily forget, since they bring a whirl of expectations and emotions in your hearth and give you that magical explosion of adrenaline and euphoria that I like to call “incense of life”.

   It started not so well (who reads me on facebook too, should have noticed it J) Do you know when you have a really bad mood? That’s it.

   But, it was enough to shut myself up in the beauty shop, together with my friend Ilaria,  to get ready for our mega party, to start again in a big way. You know, that place for women only, where everything is lightness and complicity, is able to change the course of events J. And then, to tell you the truth, spending the time to get ready for a glamour night it was so exciting that we became like lighted bulb. Burning for the emotion, blushing and electrics.

   All bad moods disappeared. It’s clear that it wasn’t something serious. As usual. Is it not like this? Sometimes we care too much about really stupid things.

   Like two Cinderellas in the fashion world, launched in a sumptuous hall, full of cameramen, photographer and all local press, we enjoyed too much letting them shooting us and talking to many people.

   Nobody was missing. There even were some of the celebrities of local television.

   The show was amazing and exciting. The spring-summer 2012 collection was so elegant and sumptuous that I couldn’t stop from comparing its beauty to the one which made the ancient roman gentlewomen shine.

   The precious  tissues had the raw colors of the nature, gold, red and brilliant turquoise. Drawn to each other in a wonderful way, they could mix perfectly the occidental and oriental tastes. You will feel their softness and preciosity and you ‘ll be enchanted from the beauty and the refinement of their hand made embroidery and drawings, at first sight.

  The show was so beautiful that it seems to be too short. But maybe, it’s just because I love fashion and all beautiful things so much, that I’m never tired of them.

   My friend Lamia Abi Nader is a young and talented designer. One refined woman, like her dresses. Who, thanks to her talent, her constancy, and seriousness, could reserve some space in the little and competitive Lebanon, but not only. Soon, my friends, I’ll tell you more about her and about Lebanese fashion in general J.
