I was born a siren, but I realize that, living in the Cedars country, something is changing inside me. In the end, if this fertile little strip of land overlooking the Mediterraneo, even in the most ancient texts is remembered for the scent and the strength of its age-old trees, there would be a deep meaning.
I thought that only the sea, the water had the power of giving me the vital energy I need to preserve that mysterious harmony I grow inside me. Now I understand it is not like that. Between the woods and the streams of my new land I have found a power and a balance almost new for me. So, I think that maybe it’s not so important the place, but rather the energies there spread.
I’m bound to transmit this feeling of mine to my children. Or, maybe, as Maria Montessori teaches, it is a natural and very strong call. Which just need to be lived and expressed. Some days ago, my little son Leonardo asked me a quite funny question: “Mom, but if a child is planted, he becomes green?” Actually, I didn’t understand his odd question at once, so I asked him to explain it better: Yes mom, if a child is planted, if you put his feet on the soil, he will become green?”
