   Per quest'anno ho proprio fatto il pieno.

  Ho voglia di buttarmi addosso la primavera e sentirla alitare sulla mia faccia. Voglio osservare la natura che rinasce. Voglio sentire il profumo dei fiori, e lasciarmi accecare dal verde in tutte le sue sfumature. Voglio togliermi le calze e camminare a piedi nudi, insieme ai miei bimbi che ridono rumorosamente. Voglio vederli divertirsi nel giocare con l’acqua, sporcarsi e inzupparsi i vestiti. Ho voglia di luce, chiara, splendente, meravigliosa. E di blu. Di mare. Scintillante come uno specchio su cui far riflettere l’anima. Sì, proprio come quello che vi mostravo stamattina su facebook, amici.

   Intanto, nel mio piccolo, faccio quel che posso. Me la porto in casa. 

   È stata la prima cosa che ho fatto tornando in Libano dalla mia vacanza italiana. Non avevo ancora disfatto le valigie che ero già all’opera, nella mia cucina ;D

   This year I can stand no more.

   I just want to be swallowed up by the spring, to feel its breath straight in my face. I want to observe the natural rebirth. I want to smell the scent of the flowers and to be dazzled by all the shades of green. I want to take off my socks and walk barefoot, together with my children laughing noisily. I want to look at them enjoying while playing with water, getting dirty and soaked through their dresses. I need the sparkling, wonderful, bright light. And the blue. The sea. Shining like a mirror for the soul. Yes, like the one I showed you today, on facebook.

   In the meantime I do what I can. I bring it in my house.

   It was the first thing I did when I came back home from my holiday in Italy. I hadn’t packed my bags yet, that I was already in my kitchen, at work J
